Yes, they do have Halloween here in New Zealand. Yes, we resurrected the turkey hat for this years trunk of treat. Here we are with the Latu twins. At least there are three cute ones in this picture.
Here the turkey is with Sister Fametau from our Ward. This all happened at our Trunk or Treat. This year they had it as a Stake Primary activity at the Stake Center. There were about 60 cars giving out candy by the time we arrived. We were late because of bikes and bodies we had to take care of. We did get some sweet photos with a lot of families.
Even Stake President Pulau got involved with dishing out the hot sausages.
After the Halloween trunk or treat we had a bike to fix and while we were fixing the bike one of the Missionaries spotted this hedgehog in the brush. It was all rolled up in a ball as a defense mechanism.
A day or so after Halloween we had the privilege of taking Sister Lal to the airport to finally start her Mission in Australia. She was a Visa waiter in our Mission for the last few months. Her family came to the airport to finally see her off on her mission.
We were visiting a missionary and happened upon this District Council Meeting with some great missionaries. So we took the opportunity for a photographic moment.
We also said goodbye to Elder Hopgood who is going home to England.
We are sad to ever see Missionaries go home but we know they need to get on with their lives. We love them and soon will be going home ourselves. We love you all and will see many of you soon enough.
Love Elder and Sister Bartlett.
