Mission Training Center

We had a wonderful week in the Mission Training Center in Provo, Utah prior to our departure to New Zealand. Wemet some wonderful Elders and Sister couples who are going all over the world. In our District of eight we have couples going to Russia, Minnesota, California, and New Zealand. There are couples we met going to Canada, Asia, Germany, Hawaii and many other states and countries. All of them with one purpose: To help others to come unto Christ by having faith in Jesus Christ, Repenting, Being Baptized, and receiving His Spirit. We have been taught how to develop the Character of Christ by worrying more about others needs and desires before our own. We have been taught how to get to know others, teach them, testify to them, invite them to come unto Christ and promise them the blessings that will come if they will accept Christ as their Savior. This teaching is inspired and will bring peace to the world if people accept it. We were privileged to listen to Elder M. Russell Ballard at a devotional on Valentine's Day, which was a special day.
Enjoying the Mission Training Center (MTC) in Provo with our Daughter-in-law's cousin Sister Brown (next to Elder Bartlett) and her companion who are going to Nicaragua and learning Spanish.
Everyone needs to have their picture taken in front of the world map in the MTC with them pointing to their Mission, which in our case is New Zealand.

This is us with Elder and Sister Hepworth from Hurricane, Utah whom we got to know well.
We were able to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Sunday morning in the Tabernacle.
At Sacrament on Sunday Elder Ballard showed up with his lovely wife. I wasn't able to talk to him personally but I did say hello to his wife.
